Chardham Yatra

Chardham (four abuse) are four pilgrimage sites of Uttarakhand. It is a holy journey of people of Hindu dharma that helps them to achieve moksha(salvation). One must visit the Chardham once in a lifetime each site has its own importance in Hindu dharma. Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri are the four sites.

  1. Go to www.registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in/  website and register yourself by filling out the registration form.

  2. Choose the day/month of traveling.

  3. Choose the mode of transport. Like bus cab or helicopter service.

  4. Submit the generated receipt.

  5. Save the generated receipt.



Badrinath

It is a shrine located in Chamoli hills in the state of Uttarakhand, India. A temple of land Vishnu.One of the 108 Divya insane incarnations of Lord Vishnu. Also part of panch including Yogdhyan Badri, Bhavishya Badri, Adi Badri, and Vridha Badri. It is around 300km far from Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand.


Kedarnath


Kedarnath is a holy shrine located in the sacred lord of Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, India. Kedarnath is the most remote of the four Char Dham sites. This temple is devoted to lord shiva and is also one of the travel jyotirlingas. It is almost 230km away from Dehradun railway station.



Gangotri 

Gangotri is a town in Uttarakhand districts in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is also a Hindu pilgrim site on the bark of the Bhagirathi rivers the origin of the river Ganga. This shrine is dedicated to the goddess Ganga and is 290km away from Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand.


Yamunotri


Yamunotri or Jamunotri is the source of the holy Yamuna river in the name of the goddess Yamuna.  It is situated in the North of the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand India. The pilgrim site is  182km away from Dehradun. The trek of 7km leads the way to Yamunotri temple.
